Energy yield assessment: we calculate the potential energy yield of PV-sites worldwide

We calculated for well over 200 different sites in Germany and other countries or checked available opinions for plausibility.

8.2 uses different sources for obtaining irradiation and weather data and also performs extensive simulations and 3-D model calculations for complex systems using different system technologies, orientations, single and multi-axis mover systems and shadowing. During obligatory on-site inspections, all relevant site features are identified and their impacts on real-life situations considered. In doing so, 8.2 is guided by the self-commitment of yield experts.

The site evaluation includes the assessment of the fundamental suitability of a proposed site for the construction of a photovoltaic system. Aspects include the available infrastructure, terrain features and soil properties as well as climatic conditions.
